The Garmin nuvi 1450T meets the 1490Tpro tested here, but will be without the built-in Bluetooth hands-free and premium TMC services.
The most striking feature of the nuvi 1450T is certainly to be 5.0 inches (12.7 cm) touch screen.
As with Garmin maps provides a complete map of Europe, according to the manufacturer includes 41 countries of Western and Eastern Europe. The map data comes from Navteq, as always, and can even be updated by the user free of charge via nuMaps 60 days after the initial operation. Installed in addition, as with all current Garmin devices, the Basemap, a world map that includes the main cities and roads.

The selling price of the Garmin nuvi 1450T is surprisingly inexpensive: A 1490Tpro (with Bluetooth handsfree and TMC Pro) is obtained on the Internet now for just under € 200. With built-in DVB-T receiver, the nuvi 1490TV model currently costs € 270. TomTom One XL cost of comparable equipment as the 1450T to the 180 € and Central Europe maps around 170 €.
